Since it launched earlier this year, our new high strength combined kerb drainage system, AquaDeck, has definitely made a big splash.
Designed specifically for installation on bridges or elevated highways, AquaDeck makes the roads safer for drivers via the quick and efficient removal of dangerous surface water from the carriageway.
It also helps protect both expansion joint and waterproofing installations.
We’ve collected a lot of positive feedback from the early adopters of this new system and it’s clear that installers love these new units because they are quick and simple to fit.
The whole process can easily be carried out by experienced kerb layers who simply lay the units on a bedding compound, adjust to line and level, with sealant then applied to form a watertight bond.

Available in both Half Battered and 45 Degree Splay Design, AquaDeck is manufactured from high strength ductile iron in a large range of width and depth combinations to suit the specific hydraulic design of the project.
It is strong yet lightweight for easier handling and installation.
Other features include an anti-skid top to prevent unwanted slips or skids, and expansion joints to accommodate longitudinal and transverse movements.
Carrying the new UKCA mark and fully compliant to the Harmonised European Standard BSEN1433, the AQUADECK Bridge Drainage System has been designed with quality in mind to compliment Eccles’ existing range of civil engineering products.
