We are delighted to announce the securing of another high profile project in Ireland as AquaDeck will be installed on the new River Feale Bridge, part of the new N69 Listowel Bypass.
The project comprises approximately 7km of single carriageway road between the start and end points on the N69 Tralee Tarbert Road and the existing N69 in Ballygologue.
Of this 7km, approximately 3.8km will be new road construction, 1.2km an upgrade to the existing road network and 2km an upgrade to the existing John B. Keane Road.
The scheme includes the additional provision of shared cycle and pedestrian facilities and will also include three new roundabouts, four bridges and a number of culverts (to either accommodate existing watercourses/drainage ditches or to provide flood mitigation).
One of the bridges is a river crossing of the River Feale and is over 115m in length.
Over 500 AquaDeck units, manufactured from high strength ductile iron, will drain this new bridge.
Chris Rothery, Project Director for AquaDeck, said:
“We’re delighted to be back in Ireland, working with Wills Bros, to supply our high-performance AquaDeck system for the wonderful new bridge across River Feale.”
