AquaDeck one of the first to achieve new declaration of conformity
Following the UK’s departure from the European Union, a new UKCA (UK Conformity Assessment) mark will be required for certain products being placed on the market in England, Wales and Scotland.
This new mark will replace the current CE mark for all UK projects and is required to be in place by law from January 2023.
We are pleased to announce that AquaDeck is one of the first to achieve this new UKCA mark, well in advance of the stated deadline.
We’ve invested heavily into this area to exemplify the high-quality and reliability of our products to provide you with the peace of mind that comes with the knowledge that our products have been extensively tested and certified by the world’s best independent third-party bodies.
Having consistency, quality and reliability throughout our entire range underpins everything that we stand for.
AquaDeck has already been certified and awarded the prestigious BSI Kitemark, meaning the product has been checked against all aspects of the standard (not just the minimum requirements for CE/UKCA certification) and is subject to ongoing surveillance and checks.
Achieving the new UKCA mark, alongside compliancy with the Harmonised European Standard BSEN1433, demonstrates the proactiveness and progression of the company and its commitment to ongoing quality.
