This was certainly the case recently as a customer got in touch wanting an opinion on the best solution to his garden problem – the stench leaking from a septic tank down the bottom end of his lawn!
His existing cover (pictured above) had a poorly-fitting lid which caused smells to leach. And the large concrete slab encasing the chamber was unsightly with a thick profile that made grass cutting very problematic.
The customer wanted an all-plastic replacement, but was struggling to find a product that didn’t use either a galvanised frame or a metal lid.

Featuring a lockable frame and high UV resistance, the cover was installed at ground level, with the unsightly raised concrete slab removed.
The customer was really pleased with the end result and the service he received: the strong single seal around the lid has blocked any stench coming from the septic tank, and the low profile of the new installation offers more discretion in his garden.
