Jack Johns joins the Eccles’ team
We are delighted to announce Jack Johns as our new Design Engineer and Quality Controller.
Jack joins the Eccles team with in-depth methods and foundry knowledge and career experience as a Castings Manufacturer and Methods Engineer.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Solent University, Southampton, and is certified in Magmasoft Basic and Core Simulations as well as 3D CAD/CAM Solidworks/Powermill.
Quality Control is an important role within the business to help ensure the continuous improvement of all Eccles products, especially in terms of productivity and technical reliability.
It ensures that all design processes and quality assurance systems are met at every stage of the product development cycle, affirming Eccles’ ongoing commitment to quality and customer experience.
Working closely with our manufacturing foundries, Jack will oversee product compliance with British and International standards, including all ISO 9001 regulations and the implementation of EN14001.
This activity is crucial because the standards we aspire to are very high within the business, so having a continuous and dedicated analysis of design proposals and accompanying technical information will help ensure that all projects are delivered on time, to standard and within budget.
Adam Eccles, Managing Director said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Jack into the Eccles family and we’re really excited about utilising his unique skills, design ideas and technical knowledge to further enhance our product offerings.
‘We have a culture of best-practice within the business, which includes hiring the best talent in the industry, so this appointment will enhance our quality control and customer experience even further.
‘This will be the first of several new appointments as the company implements an exciting new growth strategy.’
