SUB DRAIN
SubDrain is a high strength channel bridge
drainage system that provides sub-surface water
collection at deck level.
The system has been designed and engineered to
operate in conjunction with the AquaDeck bridge
deck kerb drainage system, or can be used as a
stand-alone sub-surface collection system.

Can be used in conjunction with AquaDeck kerb units or as a stand alone positive sub surface drainage system.
Channels can be cut to length or mitred on site without compromising the corrosion resistance of the system.
- High strength ductile iron
- Supplied in 500mm lengths

- Helps prevents deep bedding ‘hot spots’ which can result in ponding and bedding failure

Installation of the Sub Drain and its components is a simple process, the channels are fixed to the surface of the deck using Eccles’ Sub Drain fixing compound.

Certification & Quality Standards
AquaDeck is fully compliant to the Harmonised European Standard BSEN1433.
It carries the new UKCA Mark, which is required by law by January 2025.
AquaDeck has also been certified and awarded the prestigious BSI Kitemark, for additional quality and assurance.
The product has been checked against all aspects of this Standard, not just the minimum requirements for CE/UKCE certification, and is subject to ongoing surveillance and checks throughout its manufacture and supply.
AquaDeck is designed and FPC tested to a minimum design load of D440kN (Group 4) BSEN1433. Tested free standing Type I.
